Paquetá look to paiN for fifth
Brazil continues their roster move silly season as Wesley "hardzao" Lopes is now headed to Paquetá after being moved to the bench as paiN overhauls their own roster. Current reports indicate that only Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros will remain on the active lineup while the organization has locked in three young additions.
hardzao found himself on the outs and Gabriel Pumba and Roque Marques of Dust2 Brasil are reporting that he is close to finalizing a move to fellow 2023 BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR team Paquetá. He will also see a familiar face in Gabriel "nython" Lino who he played with on paiN for five months in 2022.
Paquetá will become an interesting team to watch in South America as they were able to keep the highly touted Carlos "venomzera" Eduardo on their roster. According to the same Dust2 Brasil report, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo was interested in bringing the player to his next team.
Besides hardzao, Paquetá were also interested in Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato and Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia who are on the bench for Fluxo and MIBR, respectively. Paquetá was ultimately unable to come to an agreement with the players, who are now reportedly negotiating with ODDIK. In their place, the search turned to hardzao and Paulo "short" Ballardini, who is a former ARCTIC player.
With the arrival of hardzao, Paquetá is expected to be:
-
Lucas "DeStiNy" Bullo
-
Carlos "venomzera" Eduardo
-
Gabriel "nython" Lino
-
Wesley "hardzao" Lopes
-
Paulo "short" Ballardini
-
Joao "righi" Righi (Coach)
