Stix steps down from Adaptation; glorinsz returns
It was not even a week ago that Adaptation announced their new roster, which is expected will play the next season in ESEA Main after being demoted from MDL. Now, Dust2.us has learned that Brite "Stix" Bang has left the Adaptation starting roster for personal reasons.
The sudden move put Adaptation in a tough position, as the team needed two players from the previous season to maintain the league spot — which meant their options were either 14-year-old Owen "oBo" Schlatter or Mitch "glorinsz" MacInnis, who joined the team midway through Season 26.
Faced with the two choices, the team reached out to glorinsz, who agreed to return to the team for the Season 27 campaign. Dust2.us knows that Adaptation's practice schedule last season was inconsistent due to oBo's age, so this likely played a role in the decision.
With the most recent change, Adaptation's roster is now:
- Chris "draWsouL" Drossel
- Adam "juice" Sar
- Austin "crashies" Roberts
- Jonathan "djay" Dallal
- Mitch "glorinsz" MacInnis
It is not known what the future has in store for oBo, though posting a 1.18 rating in his first season of ESEA MDL play will surely have him in contention to join some high Main or MDL rosters for next season.
