Complexity begin bootcamp
Prior to the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, Complexity have already departed American soil for more European pastures. The team flew off from their homes on Saturday, with the aim of a ten-day bootcamp for the team in the lead up to the first tournament after the player break.
Fortunately for the mostly-American side, they will have their full roster for both the bootcamp and BLAST Groups after they were unable to field Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli recently. Due to visa issues for the Norwegian, he was unable to travel to the United States for both IEM Dallas and the BLAST Premier Spring Finals, prior to the player break.
With the team now travelling in the opposite direction across the Atlantic, there have been no visa issues as their European player is already there, some of the other players have dual-citizenship with a EU country, or already have visas which are much easier to attain than an American visa was for hallzerk.
This will be the first time that Complexity will be playing with a complete roster since the BLAST Paris Major in May, however, since then Justin "FaNg" Coakley was benched and replaced with long-term Liquid star Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski. Hence, this will be the new roster's first time together in-person and also first [LAN] tournament together.
With the team now in Denmark, the team will have almost ten days to scrim with the top European teams, including potentially the new-look Natus Vincere and Vitality. At the BLAST Groups, Complexity have been seeded into Group A with their opening match versus Ninjas in Pyjamas at 12:30PM on July 13th.
