CS2 update brings in two maps and movement fixes

Players can now enjoy Nuke and Office in the CS2 Beta.

The CS2 Limited Test beta has received a significant update tonight, with Valve announcing the additions of Nuke and Office in place of Mirage, as well as a slew of other changes, including tweaks to audio and movement, the introduction of the casual gamemode, and the ability to inspect grenades.

Valve appears to be amping up the rate of updates for the CS2 Limited Test, with the last major update for the beta coming at the beginning of this month, with the introduction of Mirage and changes to the loadout and buy menu. This update is the largest to-date since the release of the Limited Test beta in March, with the inclusion of two maps, a break from the usual one-map rotation that the beta has employed so far.

It is also worth noting that the introduction of Nuke is the first time that Valve have included a map from the "Upgrades" pool; maps modified with new lighting and reflections, as opposed to the "Touchstone" maps of Dust2 and Mirage.

This update also includes a familiar game mode, casual. Up to this point, the only available modes in the beta were the traditional 5v5 competitive mode and deathmatch, so the introduction of casual brings CS2 one step closer in line to its predecessor. Valve have also taken steps in this update to address some concerns regarding movement, including the fixing of a bug that caused players to take longer to recover speed after crouching, as well as making bunnyhopping more closely akin to "CS:GO running at 128 tick".
