CLASIA said he isn't aggressively pursuing a new team

CLASIA also out of Strife; team future dubious

The bell tolls for Strife.

Shortly after the release of Dust2.us' story regarding the departure of Gage "Infinite" Green, Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney also confirmed that he has exited Strife while stating the roster is effectively dead. While Ian "motm" Hardy and Calvin "becker" Becker have yet to announce their departures from the team, and becker has expressed hope of a potential rebuild, as things stand with CLASIA leaving, becker would be hard pressed to assemble the three players from last season necessary for Strife to retain their spot.

CLASIA told Dust2.us that Infinite's departure essentially sealed the deal for any chance of Strife trying to rebuild coupled with the fact that motm will likely be taking a break from competition. As for his future plans, CLASIA said he will be looking for a team but he is not strongly inclined at the moment to the hunt for a new squad.

Strife on paper has these elements remaining:

  • United States Ian "motm" Hardy

  • United States Calvin "becker" Becker (Coach)

It remains to be seen if the duo will pursue new teams ahead of the end of the summer player break.

I'm tired boss. You're more tired boss. I hope that CLASIA is able to get a real shot sooner than later, but I guess CS2 messes up the entire schedule.

I wasn't expecting it, but the impending release of CS2 seems to be having a negative effect in NA at least in the short term.
