EG reportedly target EliGE and electroNic; committed to European core

According to a report by Alejandro "anonimotum" Gomis of BLIX, Evil Geniuses are targeting Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Denis "electroNic" Sharipov as potential additions to their international roster.

Additionally, talks between the organization and Audric "JACKZ" Jug and Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko have advanced to the stage of verbal agreement, suggesting Evil Geniuses are committed to their transition into a European squad, joining Liquid in the exodus from North America.

For NA fans, despite the chilly reception and results from Evil Geniuses this year, the organization's departure from NA would be a major hit, as it leaves Complexity as the sole tier one organization committed to North America.

The acquisition of either EliGE, electroNic, or potentially both would be a major coup for the Seattle-based organization as they look to recover from a dismal start to 2023. These additions alongside zorte and the retention of Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov would leave EG with a CIS core, albeit with Frenchman JACKZ and American Timothy "autimatic" Ta.

This Frankenstein roster reportedly has a realistic chance of success despite electroNic also being an acquisition target of Cloud9, who have been looking to overhaul their Russian squad.
