MDL Recap Week 7 - Ben's Anime Team and INTZ continue perfect seasons
Week seven of MDL Season 32 has concluded, with a number of teams claiming strong positions at the top of the leaderboard as they look to secure a spot in the playoffs.
The top story of this week is the arrival of Ben's Anime Team to the top of the leaderboard after picking up six wins. Although they had a few close calls against Peeker's Advantage and Rap Gang, now that Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman has settled into his coaching role and the team have brought in Maxim "wippie" Shepelev their chances of making playoffs look nearly secured.
Another interesting trend is the upswing in performance for oNe since adding Victor "bld" Rocha. The Brazilians picked up three wins this week, capping off a six-game win streak. Next week they are scheduled to face off against Ben's Anime Team and INTZ as the three squads fight for the top of the leaderboard.
Finally, MAC-51 has managed to narrowly hold onto their seventh place playoffs spot, although they only played one match this week. As they only have two games left in the regular season it will be interesting to see if Brenden "stellar" McGrath and friends can make their way into playoffs, especially with five teams at their heels with 18 points.
