nitr0 had second child during bootcamp
Yesterday it was revealed that Nick "nitr0" Cannella had missed part of the bootcamp in the Netherlands leading up to the BLAST.tv Paris Major and Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis had taken over some of the in-game leading responsibilities on the team. This left many confused, with Damian "daps" Steele only mentioning that nitr0 had things he had to deal.
Today, nitr0 revealed that, during that bootcamp, he welcomed in the birth of his second child with his wife, which is why he was not there in Europe for a time.
In an interview with HLTV's Lucas Azner Miles, he revealed that his wife was due to deliver the child a week after the RMR and had he hoped that it would happen before the bootcamp started.
I missed about a week of bootcamp[...] basically, I missed the theories and the baby was born about a week into the bootcamp, so I left three days after. I was pretty far behind in terms of theory, but what I did was watch the scrims back and try to learn as much as I could have. [...] daps was playing for me instead. The first day of practice after I got back to America, I was up at 4 AM playing scrims and the first scrim my wife texts me that she is going into labor, so then thats why I missed the first week.
With nitr0 already being a father, he already has some experience of being a player and having fatherly duties at the same time. It is unfortunate that he will end up missing the early days of his new born, however, Liquid will now be moving onto the Legends Stage of the last ever CS:GO Major Championship.
