Alpine and BLAST announce Paris Major partnership
Alpine, a member of the Renault group, has announced a partnership with BLAST for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, which includes several big ticket collaborations which will run during the Major event.
Along with being a partner, an Alpine A110 S will be on display in the arena, along with several "state-of-the-art simulator rigs from Trak Racer for attendees to try." In addition, Frankie Ward will serve as an ambassador for the vehicle company for the length of the event.
As part of the partnership, the BLAST.tv logo will be featured on the two Alpine Formula 1 cars during the 2023 Emilia Romagna Formula One Grand Prix, which takes place on the same day as the Major finals. As an extra bonus, "fans will also be able to choose the gamertags for F1 drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly during the Challengers and Legends phases, which will then proudly be displayed on both A523 during the same Grand Prix."
Continuing to add to the incentives, Alpine has also partnered with Brock Hofer, the artist of the popular Hyper Beast skin line, to create "surprises to be revealed at the Arena."
While motorsports and Counter-Strike may seem hardly related, the two sports have had a number of collaborations. In 2018, Team Vitality partnered with Renault for their virtual motorsports teams, with the Formula 1 team's livery even sporting a Vitality logo. Additionally, Heroic recently released a collaboration where Casper "cadiaN" Møller went racing with Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen.
This continues BLAST's amassing of partnerships ahead of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, which now includes ZOWIE, unikrn, Absolut, Ballantine's, and Jameson, among others.
