FLUFFY AIMERS add Kazakh coach

In a surprising move for the newly established organization, FLUFFY AIMERS have signed Kazakh coach, Rustam "5TRYK#R" Alimkulov, to helm the team. The signing sees 5TRYK#R become the latest European to take up employment with an NA team.

While 5TRYK#R has been out of the upper crust for some time, he is most well known for his nearly two-year tenure with forZe as their head coach from 2017 to 2019. During that time he worked with a number of young CIS players that would go on to have tier one careers, including: Virtus.pro's Evgeniy "FL1T" Lebedev, FORZE veteran Andrey "Jerry" Mekhryakov, and for a brief time, Liquid's Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis. FLUFFY AIMERS are likely looking to tap into this experience as they look to make the most of their first season of ESL Challenger League.

While 5TRYK#R and FishTheHusky did not respond to a request for comment by the publication on how this novel signing came to pass, it seems 5TRYK#R is seemingly an evangelist for Russian AWPer Deni "dea" Ediev. In a tweet from February 4th, 5TRYK#R recommend the 19 year old to Evil Geniuses' CEO Nicole LaPointe Jameson.
