Streamer-owned organization takes shape
CS:GO streamer and commentator FishTheHusky has brought his new organization, FLUFFY AIMERS, online with the signing of the former 1 JIN mixteam that qualified to ESL Challenger League Season 45 through relegation last season.
This new organization following a recent trend in esports of streamers forming their own organizations in esports, albeit on a much smaller scale. FishTheHusky is no stranger to ECL, with the top domestic NA league being one of the main competitions he streams on his personal Twitch account.
While FLUFFY AIMERS currently has no sponsors, FishTheHusky's pitch to Dust2.us on the organization is his intent to run it as a lean operations intending to support up-and-coming teams. In that vein, FishTheHusky heaped praise upon his new team, making the fairly bombastic claim that Deni "dea" Ediev is like Russian revelation Ilya "m0nesy" Osipov while Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell has the potential to be an "American YEKINDAR."
Only time will tell if FishTheHusky has stumbled upon diamonds in the rough at the caliber he boasts of, however FLUFFY AIMERS have had a decent start to their ECL campaign, playing a close match against paiN in their opener and besting timbermen in three maps last night.
FLUFFY AIMERS consists of:
-
Israel "LEARSI" Vargas
-
Jason "Jason" Garcia
-
Diego "sacrifice" Camacho
-
Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell
-
Deni "dea" Ediev
FLUFFY AIMERS are currently 1-1 in their group in ECL S45 following their win over timbermen last night. Their next match is scheduled to be against Evil Geniuses Black on May 3rd.
