Strife confirm new fifth
After a successful outing with him in the recent ESEA Cash Cup Circuit event, Strife have made Ian "motm" Hardy's addition to their team permanent. motm will be filling the gap left in Strife following last week's decision by Paul "aris" Wilson to leave the team and retire from CS:GO.
motm had been on the lookout for a new home for sometime after being let go from ATK in November 2022. Since then motm has been something of a mercenary, standing in for coincidentally ATK before helping out Mythic, EG White, and Strife more recently. With Strife in last weekend's ESEA Cash Cup Circuit event, Strife stunned by taking Party Astronauts and quite impressively paiN before falling to ATK in the finals. During that run, motm put up a team-best 1.07 rating over seven maps.
The addition of motm will hopefully bring some degree of stability to Strife's ranks, as the team has already replaced four players just four months in the year.
Strife are now:
-
Gage "Infinite" Green
-
Bobby "stamina" Eitrem
-
Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney
-
Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas
-
Ian "motm" Hardy
-
Calvin "becker" Becker (Coach)
motm will need to wait for sometime to make his debut in ESL Challenger League, as aris will need to play the first four fixtures for the team to maintain the spot in the league.
