Report: moose on eUnited bench as team looks to freakazoid
Kaleb "moose" Jayne is out of the eUnited starting roster, and the organization are engaged in talks with Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir, according to a report from Rush B Media earlier today.
moose is the sole remaining member of the Rise Nation squad that was signed by eUnited a year and a half ago. In that time, the team have participated in four seasons of FACEIT's Esports Championship Series, two seasons of ESL Pro League, and attended two Americas Minors.
freakazoid is the elder brother of eUnited member Austin "Cooper-" Abadir, most recently played for Ghost, and most famously for Cloud9. If he were to join the team, it would reunite the two siblings after a contentious parting of ways after they had played together for over a year in Morior Invictus, Muffin Lightning, and Swole Patrol.
With the change, eUnited would be:
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez
- Victor "food" Wong
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir
- Armeen "a2z" Toussi (Coach)
- Kaleb "moose" Jayne (Inactive)
eUnited most recently found themselves eliminated from the first week of ECS Season 8 with a 2-1 loss to Liquid, and finished as runners-up to Envy in the DreamHack Masters Malmö Closed Qualifier. On the horizon for the team are ESL One New York, which will take place next week, and ESL Pro League Season 10.
