NRG best Liquid to go 2-0 in StarLadder Major Berlin New Legends stage
Day two of the New Legends stage of the StarLadder Berlin Major has ended, with NRG being the sole team to pick up a win today after battering Liquid in a massive upset on Dust2.
Renegades started the day off as they faced off against AVANGAR on Vertigo. The first half was largely back-and-forth with Renegades managing to sneak ahead by a single round. Moving into the second half, Renegades' lead began to crumble as strong play from Timur "buster" Tulepov lept ahead to claim the win with a 16-13 finish.

The next match saw an all-American derby take place as NRG squared off against domestic rival Liquid on Dust2. Starting on their T-side, a combination of massive plays from Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov and solid executes saw the underdog end the half up 9-6. Following this, NRG shocked as they managed to hold onto their lead for the remainder of the game, knocking Liquid down into the 1-1 pool with a 16-9 win. During the map CeRq lead NRG with 25 kills and a 1.44 rating.

The final match of the day involving teams from the Americas saw MIBR fall to ENCE 16-8. Starting on their CT-side, MIBR got off to a strong start as they won the first round four rounds in a row. Following this, the cracks began to show in MIBR as, along with having to use their coach, Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga also struggled to find kills. This disparity in firepower allowed ENCE to overpower MIBR to win the half 9-6. After switching sides, MIBR continued to struggle as Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen came alive, leading the way for his squad to take Inferno 16-8.
