Mythic revamp roster with Katie, C0M, SileNt
MDL stream team Mythic have made a major revamp to their roster for the first time, adding a trio of new players: Corbin "C0M" Lee, Samuel "SileNt" Portillo, and Katlin "Katie" Boop.
On the way out of the team are long-time members Todd "anger" Williams and Adam "Polen" Polen, the latter of whom has already been seen playing alongside Prospects in the final ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup qualifier. Dust2.us knows that both players, alongside backup Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo, remain as streamers for Mythic, but are free to pursue opportunities on other rosters if they wish.
While C0M previously joined the Mythic roster as a stand-in for Todd "anger" Williams while he was in Europe, SileNt and Katie are novel additions to the team. Katie played the previous season of MDL with Ascent, but left the team shortly after the end of their league season due to "personality conflicts." SileNt spent the last few seasons casually playing on Old Guys Club alongside the likes of Sean "seang@res" Gares and Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, and now makes his return to MDL with Mythic.
Dust2.us has also learned that Jaryd "summit" Lazar was originally a part of the new Mythic lineup, but opted not to join the team in a last minute decision, leading to the formation of the following roster:
- Erik "fl0m" Flom
- James "hazed" Cobb
- Corbin "C0M" Lee
- Samuel "SileNt" Portillo
- Katlin "Katie" Boop
- Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo (Backup)
Mythic currently await the start of MDL Season 32, with the ESEA league set to kick off on September 2nd.
