BLAST invite Brazilian trio

This morning BLAST announce four additional teams that have received invites to the online European and American BLAST Premier Spring Showdowns. The Americas competition begins March 29th, ending April 2nd, and will offer only one berth to the BLAST Premier Spring Final which takes place in Washington, D.C. on June 7th-11th.

For the Americas, BLAST has decided to invite three Brazilian teams that are the cream of the crop in North America. FURIA, MIBR, and paiN will all take part in the online competition looking to beat out North American heavyweights Liquid and Complexity for their shot at getting to the US capital.

MIBR was close to making it to the BLAST Fall Finals after they placed second in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown in 2022 while paiN and FURIA finished first and second, respectively, in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown last year as well.

With there only being one spot available, this is shaping up to be one of the most competitive top tier events in North America in a long time with so many teams having to duke it out. The last spot will be filled by the winner of the Ace North American Masters Spring 2023 taking place March 9-12.
