What to expect from Complexity v. Movistar Riders
Coming off of their loss against BIG, Complexity will now need to take down Movistar Riders in the lower bracket if they want to avoid the sordid last-chance bracket, a fate Evil Geniuses found themselves in last week. As Complexity are in far better form than Movistar Riders, the expectation for this match should be that COL pull off a quick two-mapper if they want to plot their course to playoffs.
Complexity have what it takes to easily win
In their match against BIG yesterday, Complexity still looked fairly strong but somewhat out of their element against the Germans as a number of mistakes cost them important rounds. Making up for those mistakes against a far worse opponent will be the name of the game against Movistar Riders.
-
Grim is still lights out despite the loss against BIG
-
If Hallzerk finds an opener, COL win 74% of rounds
-
Complexity haven't lost to a team outside the Top 20 since November (Bo1 vs. SAW)
Movistar Riders aren't doing so hot
Movistar Riders will really struggle to take the fight to Complexity unless a miracle happens. Based on their match against Heroic, yesterday, where the team were buying decoys and P90s, Movistar Riders are on the edge of falling out of relevance due to their lackluster performances since losing Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia.

Previous Matchups
There's not much new on this front since Complexity took on BIG. The main consideration here is that Complexity need to tighten up and play a bit more disciplined as they let multiple rounds go against BIG due to misplays in advantageous situations.
Likely Vetoes
The first two bans in this series seem fairly cut and dry as Movistar Riders don't like playing Vertigo while Complexity permaban Mirage. After that it can be expected that Movistar will try and pick Inferno as it's their best map relative to Complexity while Complexity should go for Overpass as they're great on it and Movistar are unlikely to ban it. Finally, Nuke is a possible decider as both teams fancy the map and will likely let it slip through.
-
Movistar ban Vertigo; Usually First Ban
-
Complexity ban Mirage; Permaban
-
Movistar pick Inferno; Best Map compared with lowest win differential to Complexity
-
Complexity pick Overpass; Not a great map for Movistar, but they can't afford to ban it
-
Nuke decider; Frequently played by both teams
What do the Bookies say?
