FalleN confirms Imperial changes
As was reported by Dust2 Brasil over the holidays, Imperial is set to replace Fernando "fer" Alvarenga with MIBR's Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian.
In a stream held on Monday, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo confirmed that the team will be different in 2023 while also hinting at some further changes.
"There will be more announcements regarding the team. We will have some changes, as you guys know, it isn't something new. When the time comes for me to talk, I will talk", said the player, as was translated by Dust2.us.
FalleN's implication of multiple changes also likely refers to the coaching role, which should be soon vacated by Lincoln "fnx" Lau. The former player, turned coach, was removed from the starting lineup in the leadup to the RMR and put in as a coach.
fnx has already stated that he does not want to continue in the role and will also likely leave the organization in the new year.
Additionally, FalleN spoke about the team's upcoming travel schedule. Fallen will fly to the United States on Wednesday and return to Brazil on the 12th. On the 17th, the team will participate in the South American EPL Conference and toward the end of January, travel to a bootcamp.
