Complexity tie best ranking

After a monumental showing during group play at ESL Pro League in Malta, Complexity have finally clawed back into the Top 20 for the first time since February 2022 with this iteration of the roster. The squad have continued to improve since the addition of Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli with statement wins over top teams like Astralis, Natus Vincere, and ENCE. The team is enjoying their best form since being acquired by the Dallas-based organization.

While many would think that the team's wins over HEET, Astralis, and ENCE in the ESL Pro League Group C matches over the last few days would have been the driving force behind their ranking improvement, the event is still ongoing and is not included in the rankings for the team just yet. Rather, HLTV is utilizing the form rankings for matches that ended which means that we could see the squad end up even higher once the event ends.

North America has struggled in recent months to field a number of teams in the top 30 as Liquid finally seems to have brought in Maleks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis as a permanent-but-not player and Evil Geniuses' form has been far below par despite a re-tooled squad. Brazil has a number of teams in the top 30 with FURIA, Imperial, paiN and 00 Nation rounding out the nation's representatives.

The jump into the Top 20 is a great step for Complexity as they have continued to build off of good performances. Thanks to the comeback performance of Heroic over Astralis on the last match day, the Americans will be heading to the playoffs with a 3-2 group play scoreline. Complexity will have a lot to look forward to in the next stage as they await the remainder of their compatriots battling it out in Group D with FURIA, Liquid, and Evil Geniuses fighting for a playoff spot.
