Spongey joins The Quest in place of FrostayK
Following The Quest's 16-14 win against MASSIVEimpact tonight, Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle took to Twitter to announce that he is now looking for a new team.
Dust2.us has learned that FrostayK was removed from the team's lineup as they felt they need more consistent firepower moving forward, with FrostayK playing more of a support role during his tenure with the team.
Shortly after FrostayK's announcement, Gabe "Spongey" Greiner announced on Twitter that he will be filling FrostayK's spot on The Quest. This move comes as a surprise as Spongey recently joined Variance, ending his tenure with the team after only four days.
Spongey’s addition may not be the last change for The Quest this season, as Matthew "mCe" Elmore revealed he plans to step back into a coaching role as he is unable to currently put in the time to "be a good player mechanically consistently."
For now, this leaves The Quest with:
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore
- Logan "Voltage" Long
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
- Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
- Zyrus "Osodank" Bechstein (Coach)
This move also leaves Variance with the following lineup:
- Bilal "SPAMMER" Ali
- Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes
- Justin "FaNg" Coakly
- Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak
- Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan (Coach)
- George "Powerzz" Yaede (Backup)
- Stoyno "neska" Atansov (Backup)
Both teams have yet to schedule any matches for next week.
