ONET4P returns to full strength
ONET4P have announced the addition of Brian "chew" Mao to their lineup. His addition sees the Chinese-backed lineup return to full strength after Dylan "SATURN" Finch stepped down on August 2nd.
Despite only recently returning to activity, chew is a strong fit for ONET4P, as Logan "Voltage" Long's squad largely favors more experienced players. Before taking two seasons off from competition, chew made waves in his first season of Premier with Verum where he finished ESEA Premier Season 38 in 5th-6th place. Prior to that, the team won ESEA Advanced Season 37 over Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He's Triton, a distant ancestor of this current ONET4P squad.
The coincidences don't end there, as despite the event only featuring four teams, ONET4P and chew's former squad, The Jungle, crossed paths at the SiGMA Esports Cup in Toronto. Whether the two teams facing off in Toronto influenced his later addition can only be speculated on, but it would've given Voltage ample opportunities to study chew's mechanics and approach to the game.
With chew on the squad, ONET4P are now:
-
Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He
-
Gage "Infinite" Green
-
Logan "Voltage" Long
-
Ryan "Snakes" Amann
-
Brian "chew" Mao
-
Calvin "becker" Becker (Coach)
-
Dylan "SATURN" Finch (Substitute)
When ESL Challenger Season 42 finally settles down, ONET4P will be there when it starts on August 16th.
