Complexity facing elimination after crushing loss to Outsiders
Ricky "floppy" Kemery and co. got off to a dream start against Outsiders in their 1-1 game, winning their T-side pistol round without taking a single point of damage. After converting the follow-up round, Outsiders turned the tables with a win on a light buy, despite Johnny "JT" Theodosiou making the right call to head onto the B site of Overpass. Dzhami "Jame" Ali and the rest of Outsiders looked to have stabilized for the remainder of the first half, despite a heroic floppy 1v3 disrupting the flow in Round 9.
With 7 rounds on their T-side, Complexity looked very strong going into their CT defense. The opening round of the second half was the antithesis of a dream start that they had experienced in the first half, with Michael "Grim" Wince and Justin "FaNg" Coakley handing Jame a 1v2 on a platter by failing to communicate efficiently. Mistakes and miscommunications were the story of the second half for Complexity. The most egregious example came when Grim prevented the bomb from being planted and seemingly won the round if JT survived, however, JT handed himself to Jame on a silver platter with mere seconds left on the clock.
The morale of Complexity appeared broken after the JT "failing to survive" incident, with the remainder of the rounds playing out as somewhat of a formality for Outsiders who head to the 2-1 game tomorrow. As for Complexity, they are now staring into the abyss that is the elimination bo3 alongside their NA compatriots Liquid who face 9z later today.
