Valkyrie round out roster with a new addition
On April 12th, Advanced squad Valkyrie announced the addition of Harris "cheetah" K. as the fifth player, rounding out the squad after the signing of four players previously of Stealth on April 3rd. The team also announced that they would be bringing on Zach "crackshot" McGinnis as a coach, but crackshot chose to step down just days after the announcement.
Valkyrie announced their return to CS:GO fairly recently, with the signing of four of the five players representing Stealth. This saw the team acquire Nathan "Xirt" Corretjer, Hunter "Huntxr" Duron, Luis "Mexican" Dominguez Buentello, and Noah "NoVa" Vaknin. The only player from Stealth who did not make the jump to Valkyrie was Nick "blessA" Bryant, who is spending this season in ESEA Main with Cookies and Cream. This squad put up a solid performance in ESEA Advanced Season 40, posting a respectable 8-6 regular-season record, narrowly missing out on the playoff berth.
cheetah makes the move to Valkyrie after the team underwent a tryout period following the signing of the other four players. Valkyrie utilized Dylan "Irish" Frericks as a stand-in for the Ace North American Masters BLAST Premier Qualifier, but Irish ultimately ended up on Eros' revamped lineup. cheetah spent the previous season of Advanced with Alexander "zander" Diaz on Rugratz, where the team finished with an 8-6 regular-season record.
Also part of the announcement was the signing of caster crackshot to fill the coaching role for the squad. After less than a week in this position, crackshot stated that he would be stepping down from the team due to a lack of free time to devote to the team. He thanked Xirt and NoVa for providing him with the opportunity and wished the squad the best for their endeavors in ESEA Advanced Season 41.

This finalized Valkyrie lineup has already made a handful of appearances thus far, bowing out of the second IEM Dallas open qualifier in the third round after a narrow loss to X13, and edging out Vexo White in their debut match in this season of ESEA Advanced.
