MDL Week 1 Recap - Spacestation blast to the top
The first week of MDL Season 30 has come to a close, with Spacestation and Bravado topping the board having won two matches apiece. This week also saw Mythic debut with Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo, who topped the board in the team's matchup against Infamous alongside James "hazed" Cobb to grant Mythic a win in their opening match.
The week began with an upset victory by MDL newcomers Final Feature, who narrowly defeated Singularity 16-14 on Mirage to clinch their first win of the season. They were unable to replicate their result in ther match against iNTACT the very next day, falling 11-16 on Overpass as Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman and co. got themselves on the board with a win of their own.
Having recently returned from South Africa, Bravado grabbed wins in both of their opening matches of the season. Spacestation also topped the board with two victories, defeating Win Scrims Not Matches and The Fundamentals this week. All three Brazilian lineups in Luminosity, FURIA, and oNe have yet to play any matches as Luminosity headed to iBUYPOWER Masters this weekend, while the latter two teams are bootcamping in Poland ahead of the Americas Minor.
