Bibby gets Paradox-ical with Australian MDL team
Australian team Paradox have seemingly enlisted the services of an American import, as Teric "Bibby" Ingram has joined the team's ESEA roster. A few weeks ago Bibby released a Tweet stating that he was looking for a new home following his release from Spacestation in October and it now seems that he has found one, having recently paid his league fees for the season.
Paradox are one of the lesser known squads currently participating in the Australian MDL, however last season they managed to raise a few eyebrows by claiming an upset victory over ORDER in a close 2-1 quarter-finals victory. Since then, the Paradox squad has been mostly inactive, although they recently finished second-place at the domestic InstaFrag Premier Season 1 event, beating Avant Garde before falling to Breakaway.
Bibby is not the first American to find his way onto an Australian team's coaching staff, as Matt "dayV1D" David is currently coaching Avant Garde over in Australia since linking up with the team last November.
As such, Paradox's team should be as follows:
- James "sibe" Martin
- Andy "Noobster" Zhang
- Nelson "keeyto" Then
- Edward "Chub" Lee
- Matthew "Valiance" Hartrick
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
Paradox have already played their first two matches of the season with Bibby at the helm and are currently standing at a 1-1 record, despite the coach and the team not having inked a deal yet. It is unknown if Bibby intends to travel to Australia to coach the team in person, however it appears that he is currently stateside as he is pegged to be at an Esports Arena event this weekend in California.
