Ace unlikely to continue with Swole Patrol
Former eUnited sharpshooter and flick extraordinaire Brandon "Ace" Winn has stated that he will be returning to daily streams "since [he has] no team."
He later responded to an inquirer that he has "absolutely zero clue what's happening with [Swole Patrol]", and that he thinks playing with the team next season is "highly unlikely." The player told Dust2.us that he had not heard from the other members of the team since their run at the ESEA Season 29 MDL Global Challenge. His contract with eUnited runs through February.
After Swole Patrol secured their place in ESL Pro League Season 9 with their victory over cantwinalan, the status of Ace moving forward was an open question. With rumors of Ghost targeting Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir as a replacement for Yassine "Subroza" Taofik, another question was added.
Dust2.us has learned that the team, uncertain of freakazoid's status, plan to move forward with Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro as in-game leader, and Braxton "swag" Pierce picking up the AWPing duties.
Another potential stumbling block for the team lies in Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez's recurring visa issues, however the team are confident that with the support of an organization, this will become a non-issue.
