StrongLegs announces $1,000 cup
Canadian player Roy "StrongLegs" Ahad announced yesterday that he will be holding an online 5v5 CS:GO cup taking place on November 25th in partnership with Swarmio, a server host and tournament platform.
The event features some pretty quirky and fun rules that should make for an enjoyable experience for players and viewers alike. Knife rounds will be held on the map Baggage and the winners will be given the choice of picking a starting side or the option to ban maps first in the veto phase.
Aside from this, the tournament will follow ESEA/ESL rulesets. The StrongLegs Cup will be a free to enter event, giving many aspiring teams their first chance at a sizeable online prize pot.
StrongLegs is known in the community for his time as a player and coach of FRENCH CANADIANS. This season, he played with MDL squad Good People, who recently disbanded after a meager 22nd place finish this season. He spends his free time casting his fellow MDL teams matches that wouldn't otherwise be covered, and provides educational streams to help players hone their CS:GO skills.
If you wish to sign-up for the Strong Legs Cup, details can be found on the Swarmio Twitter as well as their website https://www.swarmio.gg.
