motm's future with Vireo.pro uncertain
A tweet from Ian "motm" Hardy late Thursday evening has shown the player is already assessing opportunities for the upcoming MDL season.
motm has been a part of the Vireo.pro roster since joining the team back in May. Not long after his addition the team was picked up by Born, but parted ways with the organization soon after before being picked up by Vireo.pro. Dust2.us knows that the full roster plans to attend Fragadelphia 12 at this point in time.
The 18-year-old has put up considerable numbers for his team during his tenure, going negative in only 5 of his 22 matches and averaging a 1.22 rating. With the next ESEA season being a promotion season, it is unlikely that motm would be without a home for long with his in-game leading abilities also on offer.
Vireo.pro saw success in Season 28 of ESEA's MDL, finishing in 6th to make it to the playoffs. It was there that they fell 2-0 to Monstars, putting an end to any hopes of snagging a portion of the prize pool for the season. A recent 16-10 win over Forty Six & 2 in the first open qualifier for MSI's MGA Playoffs saw the team sneak through to the second stage, giving them a shot at playing in front of the ESL One New York crowd before the grand finals should they be able to conquer a gamut of EPL teams.
Vireo.pro currently have no matches slated to be played as MDL Season 28 has come to an end, although they are likely to compete in upcoming online qualifiers for tournaments. The team currently awaits the start of MSI MGA Playoffs, where they'll take on the likes of Ghost, FURIA, compLexity, and Dignitas.
