Dignitas fe win GIRLGAMER Festival 2018
The grand final of the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival 2018 has finished, with Dignitas fe beating Unknown 2-0 (16-10 Train, 16-7 Mirage). They take away the majority of the prize in $4,687. This win comes after the recent departure of one of their stronger players in Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie, who is now on CLG Red.
Unknown's pick of Train did not start well for the European side, only managing four rounds on their Terrorist side. In-game leader Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido led by example and powered her squad through the T side with Dig securing the victory 16-10.
Mirage also started really rough for the Unknown side, dropping a 5-10 halftime score from the CT side. Once again it was EMUHLEET at the forefront, picking up 24 frags on the way of Dignitas closing out the map 16-7 and taking the series 2-0.
While EMUHLEET certainly shone during the final, it was Kiara "milk" Makua who was the stand out player over the whole tournament, putting up a 1.29 rating over six maps.
Here are the final standings for the tournament:
1. Dignitas fe - $4,687
2. Unknown - $3,515
3. eParadise Angels - $2,343
4. Besiktas - $1,172
