MIBR replace Liquid at ZOTAC Cup Masters
MIBR have been confirmed to compete at the ZOTAC Cup Masters Grand Finals from August 24th to the 26th, while Liquid has decided to skip the event in Hong Kong.
Made in Brazil recently competed and finished 7th-8th at ESL One Cologne falling to hometown favorites and eventual grand finalists BIG in a close series. The majority Brazilian squad are currently ranked 5th in HLTV's CSGO Rankings.
There are currently 7 out of 8 slots filled for the event. The teams confirmed for Hong Kong are:
VG.Flash | MVP PK |
Tyloo | Virtus.pro |
Ghost | Kinguin |
MIBR | Invite |
MIBR will battle the likes of TyLoo, Virtus.pro, and VG.Flash in Hong Kong for the $300,000 at stake.
The most recent invitees to the event have been linked to a possible roster move that would see Ricardo "boltz" Prass be replaced by Tarik "tarik" Celik. If this were to occur, tarik would be reunited with former teammate Jake "Stewie2K" Yip. The two were famously key factors in Cloud9 winning the ELEAGUE Boston Major.
