compLexity overcome Rogue, win Americas Minor
compLexity started the series off on a high note, taking the first four rounds of Mirage before Rogue were able to put a point on the board for themselves. Rogue were unable to string any more rounds together however, as compLexity resumed their streak, winning six more consecutive rounds thanks to a strong presence from Rory "dephh" Jackson. Rogue finally got another point on the board, but compLexity eventually rounded out the half 13-2 in one of the most lopsided halfs of the Minor.
The second half continued in a similar fashion, with compLexity dominating Rogue due to their massive advantage from the first half. Rogue won one round, but it was not enough as compLexity finally won the three rounds they needed to close the first map 16-3.
On Dust2, compLexity's domination continued in the first half, with Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker leading his team to a 11-4 scoreline.
Led by Hunter "SicK" Mims and Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland, Rogue slowly began to come back in the second half, stealing rounds away and slowly closing the gap, as compLexity's lead began to wane. At 15-14, compLexity had to win the last round in order to finally wrap up the series 2-0 and prevent overtime. On a half buy, Peter "stanislaw"Jarguz took the round with a 4K against Rogue, winning compLexity the map 16-14 and closing the series 2-0.
compLexity win the Americas Minor and they take home $30,000 and bragging rights over Rogue. Both teams will return to London in the New Challengers Stage of the FACEIT Major, for which both have qualified.
