Rogue to Minor grand final, Major qualifier
The upper bracket final between Rogue and compLexity has completed, with Rogue advancing to the grand final, winning the match 2-1. They also secure a spot at the Major qualifier beginning in September. compLexity move down to the consolidation final and will face the winner of the match between NRG and eUnited.
Rogue began Mirage in control, and racked up a solid lead from the Counter-Terrorist side. Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker had a ridiculous performance during the match for coL and brought it back to overtime for his team. However, the Rogue side edged out compLexity's map pick 19-16, despite yay's 38 kills.
The first half of the second map Dust II was vert back and forth, with Rogue edging out the lead 8-7 at the half. This time it was Spencer "Hiko" Martin who stepped up for his team, and put up a 1.79 rating. Rogue managed to lock down their Terrorist side and close out the map 16-11 and the series 2-0.
Rogue move on to the Americas Minor grand final where they will face the winner of the consolidation final tomorrow. The loser bracket final will take place shortly between NRG and eUnited.
