Vanity removed from FPL Challenger
Anthony "Vanity" Malaspina of Gorilla Gang has been removed from the Challenger division of the FACEIT Pro League, the player (with some help from Randy "Smiley" Sandoval) revealed yesterday.
As elaborated on in a follow-up tweet by FACEIT admin Yuriy "Swindoll" Mysnyk, the reason for the ban was due to Vanity "purposely dodging matches multiple times just because you dont like some players".
It is true that in the past Vanity has not attempted to hide his feelings of disdain for certain FPL-C members.
When contacted by Dust2.us, Vanity remarked that his ban only is for a week, but that he has already left the hub because it is "not worth playing that low level of CS".
For the time being, the decision should provide the player more time to focus on Gorilla Gang's MDL campaign, where they currently sit at 12-4 with four matches remaining.
In related news, Tyler "tweiss" Weiss, most recently of The Pioneers, was also briefly banned from the service, though seemingly is back in FACEIT's good graces as of noon EDT today.
