Cloud9, Liquid, SK invited to ELEAGUE Premier 2018
ELEAGUE has announced the talent and invited teams for the ELEAGUE Premier 2018, which will take place in the ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta, starting July 21st and running through to July 29th.
The group stage, which is set to begin July 21st and finish on July 25th, will feature two groups with best-of-three double elimination brackets in each. The top two teams from both groups will proceed to the playoffs, which will play out on July 28th and July 29th, featuring a single-elimination bracket, where two teams will be eliminated in two best-of-three semifinals and two teams will move on to a best-of-five grand finals.
The event’s eight invited teams have been decided based on their HLTV ranking. As a result of all the teams being invited, the event will boast no qualifiers.

To cover the event, ELEAGUE has enlisted a team of talent similar to that of last year’s EL Premier, with the exception of Alex “Machine” Richardson replacing Richard Lewis as the event’s host and commentator Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat being absent.

Akin to the ELEAGUE Premier 2017, the ELEAGUE Premier 2018 boasts a $1,000,000 prize pool. The current prize pool split has yet to be released by Turner Sports.
The event will be simultaneously broadcasted on ELEAGUE’s Twitch page, as well as Bleacher Report's B/R Live and ELEAGUE Live Game Command.
