The Pioneers change multiple wagon wheels in roster overhaul
The Pioneers have made some fairly drastic changes, with three of the roster from the start of the season heading out for a variety of reasons.
Bryan "MAKKA" Drouillard was the first to be cut, with Dust2.us learning that he has made way due to his work schedule conflicting with that of his team's competitive calendar. Ryan "GRAMPZ" Baber was the next out, with the player currently taking a hiatus from the game due to personal problems.
Tyler "tweiss" Weiss, on the other hand, is slightly more complex. Dust2.us has learned that the tweet below refers to the team not telling him that they were playing in the Minor Qualifier with an overhauled roster, with him eventually leaving the team later in the day.
At the moment, only two players have come into replace the three who have left. The first is Collin "wrath" McSweegan, who has been teamless since leaving The Entourage at the end of last season. He did, however, have an alternate account under the tag of "2015" which competed in a single MDL game for Levitate. The second is former Ghost coach Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber, who has not been competitively active since the end of 2017.
The new roster was on show during the final Minor Qualifier, where they secured a spot into the Closed Qualifier after beating F1-racecar-PEEK 2-1. They had also been seen playing with Sebastian "seb" Bucki during the qualifier, however he is yet to have joined the team's ESEA roster.
The Pioneers' new roster on ESEA is as follows:
- Connor "CONNOR93" Glover
- Chad "oderus" Miller
- Collin "wrath" McSweegan
- Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber
- Kenny "kenny-1os-" Dang (Coach/Manager)
