shz to join Immortals; to be replaced by Yuji
This week saw Ricardo "boltz" Prass help SK Gaming claim victory at EPICENTER in Russia. The twenty-year-old is set to join the best Brazilian bunch on a permanent basis, with Immortals already lining up his replacement - Bruno "shz" Martinelli.
A 7-8th finish at DreamHack Open Denver for Tempo Storm was rough, but shz concluded the event with a 1.08 rating, leading his team despite their loss. Considered a rising talent by many in the Brazilian scene, shz has already played four ESL Pro League matches for Immortals, filling in for the squad shortly after LUCAS1 and HEN1 stepped down from the roster following kNgV-'s removal.
A report from ESPN Esports Brazil now indicates that Lucas "Yuji" Yuji will be filling shz's place on Tempo Storm, with the player awaiting approval of a visa to play in the United States.
The 22-year-old rifler has been a rising star in Brazil, claiming victory in ESL Brazil Premier League Season 4 and the Brazil Game Cup 2017 - all while working a full-time job during the day. With Tempo Storm he'll be offered the opportunity to play in the United States, and face off against stronger opposition alongside new teammates.
This new path is echoed by shz, who will look to prove himself capable of playing at an ever increasing competitive level as he begins his own new journey in Immortals.
With these changes, the two rosters look as follows:
Immortals
- Lucas "steel" Lopes
- Lucas "destiny" Bullo
- João "horvy" Horvath
- Caio "zqkS" Fonseca
- Bruno "shz" Martinelli
- Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (coach)
Tempo Storm
- Paulo "land1n" Felipe
- Ricardo "s1" Shinji
- Denis "dzt" Fischer
- Alef "tatazin" Pereira
- Lucas "Yuji" Yuji
