Armada sink, disband
Armada have dropped their team, with the players going their separate ways, the organization has announced on Twitter. This comes after a series of events beginning with the release of Jack "xCeeD" Holiman from the lineup.
In the video, Armada owner Riley Long explained that Gage "Infinite" Green had received an offer to join a different team, and planned on accepting the offer. This team is known to be Dignitas, and Long explained that the transfer of Infinite was pending.
After this, Ian "motm" Hardy declared that he wanted to step down from the in-game leading role and become a rifler. The team tried to look for a new in-game leader, but were unable to find a suitable candidate.
This led to the team deciding to part ways and pursue individual opportunities. During their time together, the Armada squad won the first PreGame Masters over Torqued.
Here was the former Armada roster:
- Gage "Infinite" Green
- Ian "motm" Hardy
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
- Ricky "floppy" Kemery (Trial)
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
It won't be long before seeing some of these players again however, as motm and Joshua "Hunter" Madore are set to join teams in the MDL for Season 28.
