Bibby joins Atmosphere as coach
After a short lived experiment in ESEA Open, Teric "Bibby" Ingram has returned to MDL as a coach. Joining Atmosphere he leaves Dare, the ESEA Open side he was a member of for just over a month. He will find himself coaching Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, whose Rise Nation side lost to SoaR in the match that sent the now-Dignitas side to ESL Pro League.
Atmosphere are currently fifth in MDL, with a 10-4 record meaning they are in a key position to make playoffs, although the league is incredibly close. According to a tweet from Ludovic "tiz" Emond, Bibby was coaching the team for their 16-4 win over RONIN last night.
When contacted by Dust2.us, Bibby said:
Since being replaced on SoaR my motivation and desire to stick around has gone up and down. I have recieved more offers then I thought I would ever get. Offers from Europe, Australia and some here in North America. Of course North America is my home soil so when I got an offer to come help Atmosphere, I was quite interested and saw the potential they had — especially with Jonji joining the team bringing that experience they needed.
We have a lot of work to do in such little time to prove to everyone that we are here to win and that we can be the next Pro League team.
Atmosphere's roster is now as follows:
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Dion "Bl4ckiice" Mckenzie
- Ludovic "tiz" Emond
- Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani
- Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (coach)
A potential stumbling block for the new coach is the fact that Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani is set to be in attendance at WESG Finals 2017 in China this weekend as a member of the Onliners, replacing Kaleb "moose" Jayne in the squad. The trip will mean less practice time for Atmosphere at a critical point in the season.
