Leetify and DatHost announce new matchmaking platform Renown

It's only available in EU, for now.

Leetify and DatHost officially announced the invite-only matchmaking platform Renown today.

Renown, which costs $4.99 to use per month, or $8.99 to bundle it with the Leetify Pro service, features its own anti-cheat and claims to use AI to combat cheaters, toxicity, and smurfs. All invites to Renown are pre-vetted by verifying a player's match history though Leetify. There are also annual price options for Renown and the Leetify Pro bundle.

According to the platform's website, Renown was founded with the goal of combatting both toxicity and cheaters. The platform also features "automatic, randomized skin drops" sent straight to player Steam accounts after matches.

Access to Renown is currently limited to "top players in Europe," but more players and regions are expected to be added in 2025. While game server hosting website DatHost chooses to provide service to other games, Renown is explicitly focused on Counter-Strike for the foreseeable future.

Interested NA players can join the Renown wishlist through the platform's website. When Renown comes to NA, invites will be sent out based on Leetify activity, so more matches played through Premier or FACEIT can improve your odds.
