m1cks returns to coaching with ESEA Advanced squad

Joshua "m1cks" Micks has informed Dust2.us that he has returned to coaching in Counter-Strike 2 and joined ESEA Advanced Season 52 squad regain. m1cks had been away from the game for sometime, having last coached Elevate from April 2024 to June 2024 before taking an extended break from competition.

m1cks told Dust2.us that he made the decision to return to CS2 to return to his roots while having the opportunity to work with a less-experienced squad that he hopes he can help mold in 2025. Despite coaching a number of organizations like Cloud9, Elevate, and Nordavind, m1cks says he regretted never having the chance to learn the craft alongside an ESEA Advanced team while growing together with a squad at that level.

Under regain, m1cks will be working alongside IGL Alexander "sasha" Burke, whom m1cks is excited to work with as he sees great potential in the young IGL. regain currently have a 5-3 record in ESEA Advanced Season 51 and are on course to secure a playoffs berth.

regain's next match in ESEA Advanced Season 51 will be against Guangdong Tigers on February 13th.
