Rogue sign ryx and SicK
Rogue have announced the dual signings of riflers Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki and Hunter "SicK" Mims. The move reunites SicK with former teammate Daniel "vice" Kim — the pair played for Denial and "qualified" for ESL Pro League before the promotion rules were cruelly changed out from under them.
Additionally, ryx and SicK both plied their trade together for a brief time in compLexity, though only saw official action together in the online qualifier for MLG Columbus.
Both players come to Rogue as free agents, with ryx playing last season with Ghost before linking up with the remains of CLG, and SicK having spent the past two years with TSM/Misfits. SicK became a free agent after Misfits run at the ELEAGUE Major Boston Qualifier came to a conclusion.
Rogue's roster is now:
- Daniel "vice" Kim
- Spencer "Hiko" Martin
- Casper "cadiaN" Møller
- Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki
- Hunter "SicK "Mims
- Garett "Grt" Bambrough (Coach)
The new look Rogue squad will be participating in the first open qualifier for IEM Katowice, which is set to kick off in a few hours. The top team from the bracket will advance to the Closed Qualifier of nine teams.
Looking past this weekend, the team now has just under a month to prepare for ESL Pro League Season 7, where they will hope to avoid the roster instability that saw them at the bottom of the regular season standings.
