dapr joins Ghost Academy
Mike "dapr" Gulino will be joining Ghost Academy in the stead of Jason "neptune" Tran, who due to the new age limits imposed on MDL will be unable to play in the league.
dapr last saw formal action with GX, where he played all of last season, culminating in the ESEA MDL Global Challenge. The player was almost immediately replaced by the team following the event with Josh "steel" Nissan, amid allegations from his former teammates that he was not giving his all in the matches played there.
Since being removed from GX, dapr has been helping Rise Nation in the Chicago CS:GO Open Online event, though the competition faced there in two matches so far has hardly been at the MDL level.
Ghost Academy's roster is now:
- Andrew "ShoT_UP" Orlowski
- Jarod "Douglas" Onorato
- Bryan "MAKKA" Drouillard
- Chad "Oderus" Miller
- Mike "dapr" Gulino
- Jason "neptune" Tran (Inactive)
Ghost Academy's debut with the new roster may come later today in the first open qualifier for IEM Katowice, which will commence in approximately an hour. However, the organization's Pro team is also registered, and both will not be able to participate.
