Wildcard win Frost and Fire Season 1

The North American mix won their first online event in Europe.

Wildcard elected to drop out of ECL Season 49 in North America to travel to Europe to increase their chances of Major qualification. The decision is already paying dividends, as they have won their first European event - albeit against weaker opponents.

As an invited team, Wildcard entered the tournament in the quarterfinals. After dispatching Insilio and SINNERS, the international roster met 9 Pandas in the finals.

Wildcard stole 9 Pandas' map pick of Dust 2 before losing on their own pick of Nuke. Inferno saw Tim "susp" Angstrom and Josh "JBa" Barutt shine, as was the theme throughout the event. Both players logged +10 K/Ds, leading Wildcard to a 13-9 victory on the deciding map of the tournament.
