BLAST Rising circuit details announced

BLAST have announced qualification details for their Rising events, which will feed directly into BLAST Open.

The Rising circuit is split into four regions: North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Each region will have open and closed qualifiers for BLAST Rising Finals. The winner of Rising Finals will represent their region at BLAST Open.

In each region, the top four teams (not already directly invited to BLAST Open) will be invited to BLAST Rising Finals. The following twelve teams will be invited to the BLAST Rising Closed Qualifier.

The Closed Qualifier is split into four groups of four teams, consisting of best-of-three, double elimination brackets. The winners of each group will join the four teams that were directly invited to BLAST Rising Finals.

From there, the eight teams will battle in a single-elimination, best-of-three brackets, with the winner qualifying to BLAST open.

The first BLAST Open event will take place in Lisbon, starting from March 19th.
