Official: Peeping exits Party Astronauts
Dust2.us has confirmed with Party Astronauts that Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell has stepped down from Party Astronauts, seeing the former Elevate player leave the squad after two months in the team's ranks. The departure comes as Peeping has been spotted playing with Nouns in this weekend's NA Revival Series November alongside Nick "nicx" Lee, with the duo being trialed as potential replacements for Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly and Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott.
Peeping joined Party Astronauts back in September alongside Bogdan "ogwizard" Savula as replacements for the outgoing Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk and Adam "WolfY" Andersson, changes that came about following Party Astronauts failure to claim a spot in the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR via the Closed Qualifier.
With the new duo Party Astronauts initially struggled but later found their form, notably finishing ESL Challenger League Season 48 in fourth place following a decisive win over Nouns in playoffs.
Justin "FaNg" Coakley told Dust2.us that Peeping decided to leave Party Astronauts to trial for Nouns, with his departure being unfortunate but minimally detrimental due to the fact that Peeping has been on the roster for a short time. FaNg says that the plan for the team moving forward is to trial Wesley "viz" Harris in today's NA Revival Series November, with a view for him to rejoin PA on a permanent basis if he is at a level PA are comfortable with.
viz of course is no stranger to Party Astronauts, having played for the tag multiple times over the years. His most recent stint came to an end in February due to health issues, with viz being inactive since then.
With Peeping exiting the lineup, Party Astronauts are now:
-
Ben "ben1337" Smith
-
Gage "Infinite" Green
-
Justin "FaNg" Coakley
-
Bogdan "ogwizard" Savula
Party Astronauts and viz will face off against timbermen in the NA Revival Series November tonight at 06:00PM.
