International teams top NA Revival Series November 2024 OQ

Last night the open qualifier for the NA Revival Series' November edition was played out, seeing 79 teams compete for two spots in the $5,000 event. When the smoke cleared, two international squads topped the pile, with the Mongolian Akimbo roster coming from the upper bracket while the Eastern European Revenge Nation squad cleaned up in the lower bracket. Notably Dans "danss" Sils filled in for Kamron "kmrn" Manii for the qualifier and now the main event due to kmrn playing the FRAG Jersey 3 LAN this weekend.

The first three rounds of the open qualifier were relatively uneventful, with the only notable team going out at this stage being David "DAVEY" Stafford's Peeker's Advantage. In round four, Take Flyte were struck down by a WICKED mixteam in a 13-3 win on Anubis, while Akimbo also bested Final Form 13-5 on the same map.

The fifth round saw Green Tea Party forfeit their match allowing Vagrants (ex-Limitless) a path into the qualification match, Akimbo smashed Colin "koi" Thor's Revel squad 13-4 on Mirage, WICKED continued their run with a 13-6 win over ESEA Advanced squad Make Your Mind on Dust2, and Revenge Nation smashed relative unknowns Diablos 13-0 on Anubis.

In the qualification matches, Akimbo closed out the qualifier confidently with a 13-7 win over Vagrants on Anubis while Revenge Nation continued the trend of Anubis being the most popular map of the event by also winning their qualification match 13-7 over WICKED.
