nicx jumps ship after a week
Last night Nick "nicx" Lee announced his departure from timbermen, leaving Wyatt "snav" Phillippi's lineup after a week to the day after joining the orlgess lineup alongside Raymon "rayxts" Mando. nicx's addition to the timbemen lineup was intended to serve as the start of a major overhaul for the timbermen lineup which saw the team break up their long-time core of snav, Derek "dare" Brown, and Shane "shane" Dressler.
During their short time together, nicx and timbermen only played a single series of note in the Perseverance League Persevere Division, a close 2-1 loss to undone that saw the team field shane as a stand-in.
Regarding his decision to leave timbermen, nicx told Dust2.us that there was no inciting incident in his departure, however he noted that he wanted to "play in an environment where everyone has the same mindset" that he "pulled the trigger on joining when I knew I shouldn’t have."
With nicx leaving the team it is currently unknown if rayxts will stick with timbermen considering the duo joined as a package deal, not responding to a message from Dust2.us ahead of publication.
