Former Davenport coach returns to activity with Revel

Former Davenport University coach and MOUZ analyst Colin "koi" Thor has announced his return to Counter-Strike 2 by joining Revel in ESEA Main Season 51. The former coach is set to take a rifling role on the Revel lineup, marking a shift in his career from the coaching and analysis roles he most notably held from 2021 to 2023.

koi briefly previously featured as a substitute for 26 Rising in late 2023 before taking an extended hiatus from the game to focus on personal matters and a burgeoning interest in semi-professional motorsports. He recently announced his desire to look for a new team which Dust2.us understands was motivated by an increased confidence in the state of Counter-Strike 2 after a rough launch turned koi, among others, off of searching for teams at the start of the year.

koi joins Revel during a difficult time for the team, with Revel currently sitting at a 3-5 in ESEA Main Season 51. His aim will be to help the team recover their season while shaking off the rust that comes with an extended hiatus from competition.
