InControl roster reduced to three

Last night Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt announced that InControl are looking for two new players to return their lineup to full strength, with Dust2.us confirming that Mason "mason" Watkins is no longer part of the roster. mason joins Ty "TyRa" Aron in leaving InControl this week, with the latter player jumping ship to join Final Form in place of Evindar "Drop" Isik.

mason's exit from the InControl roster has been in the works for somewhat, albeit under confusing circumstances, with mason first announcing his departure from the team on October 30th in a now-deleted post on X. Dust2.us understands that mason's departure from the InControl roster came after the lineup, spearheaded by TyRa, electing to cut the player ahead of his trip to Saudi Arabia for IESF 2024. However, when TyRa received the offer to join Final Form, InControl attempted to bring mason back into the fold, with mason electing to make his departure final.

Losing TyRa and now mason puts InControl in a difficult situation as the lineup will now need to find two players ahead of the ESEA Season 51 roster lock next week. With InControl currently having 50 ECL points, the team are in a pole position to claim a spot in ESL Challenger League Season 48 Relegation, however the squad's roster troubles along with their 4-4 record puts them in a difficult spot heading towards the end of Season 51's regular season.

InControl's next match in ESEA Advanced Season 51 is scheduled to be against straykids on November 5th.
