nooz on rejoining FLUFFY AIMERS: "When I left it was a bit of a weird situation"
At Fragadelphia x Tap 2, Nelvin "nooz" Gonzalez came as part of a hodgepodge timbermen squad that were hoping to challenge the field and potentially come away with a win. The squad progressed pretty quickly throughout the tournament and eventually found themselves in the final.
nooz, however, has had an interesting few months in North America after the demise of Perseverance, his back-and-forth on FLUFFY AIMERS, wondering where Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado is, and how rising star slump.
You can read some snippets of the conversation below and watch the full interview on our YouTube.
How did you end up deciding to play with the timbermen squad here at Fragadelphia?
I think shane couldn't go to this LAN, so they asked me to fill in. Eventually, they were going to come with nero and aleph, but they couldn't come due to personal stuff. So then kmrn joined and he came at the last moment. We made a tweet at the last second and we decided to play with kmrn because he has experience.
After Perseverance collapsed, you found your way back to FLUFFY AIMERS. Was it easy to get yourself back into that team?
It was actually pretty easy. I talked to Fish and they asked if I wanted to come back, which I said yes to. I like the team! At the point when I left it was a bit of a weird situation, but when I came back it was really good.
slump has gotten a lot of attention recently coming out of FLUFFY AIMERS. What can you tell us about him?
Being honest, I didn't really know him. I knew him from pugs, but didn't know him more than that. As a person, he's a chill guy, a good teammate, and a good player.
Another name out there is MarKE. Is he out of the project? What's going on with him?
Honestly, I have no idea. I don't know anything about that. I can't say anything.
nooz finished in 2nd with timbermen at the event but will continue playing for FLUFFY AIMERS next season in ECL.
